The active and reactive power absorbed by a group of dipoles are equal to the sum of active and reactive powers absorbed by each element of the group.
So according to this theorem: P = P1 + P2 + P3 and Q = Q1 + Q2 + Q3
For a balanced receiver: P1 = P2 = P3 and Q1 = Q2 = Q3
Finally: P = Q = 3.P1 and 3.Q1
Power factor: k = P / S (Under sinusoidal k = PF).
